This popped up the other day and I live down the road. Very pretty run. Didn't want someone to try this thinking it was going to be a cakewalk and get in over their heads. It's closer to 13 miles, the sand is very soft, the wind is almost always going to be in your face on the way out, and it can get very hot. Unlike many beach runs, the shore in the cape drops off quickly and there is not the typical flat and firm sand just above tide mark. Besides ORV tracks you'll be running in very soft sand. In perfect conditions completing in 90minutes is going to be challenging.
Make sure you bring water.
Abide by bird nesting closures to the ORV path on your return.
