FKT: Ryan Richert - Lake Geneva Shore Path (WI) - 2022-06-23

This was my second attempt at this FKT. First was this spring where docks were blocking the path and there was still snow to contend with. Better conditions this morning and with the sunrise start time the temperature in the low 60’s. The unique obstacle for this time of day/year is contending with the sprinklers. The benefit is the inevitable splashes of cool water, the drawback is that it made the path slippery and muddy. Nevertheless I was able to stay mostly vertical with a few close calls. My only during nutrition was a handheld bottle with 16 oz tailwind.
