FKT set as establishment of FKT route for first known connection of full loop. Set in late May in Maryland after a huge thunderstorm the night before. Washout, blowdowns, windsnaps, and lots of mud. Trail is hard and very technical especially on the fire road portion. Our route did east on the fire road and return trip on the bridle path.
Water refill out of reservoir halfway on the return trip. All fuel and water was carried until water refill using natural source.
Trail starts and ends at the Brown's Bridge parking lot. You cross over Brown's Bridge road and pick up the fire road south of the boat ramp. Turnaround to get on bridle path happens before entering the power line field closer to Supplee Lane. Most of the bridle path is marked with orange blazes. Will need navigation running because washout can take away part of the trail on the reservoir inlet creeks that you need to cross.
