During my annual camping trip up at Baxter I spent a couple of solo nights at Roaring Brook before friends showed up. I took advantage of a nice morning and went to best my time on this route. I had previously completed the loop with my friend Andy Lundeen on September 30, 207 in 6:23:30 (https://www.strava.com/activities/1212551916/overview). I was feeling quite good and got an early enough start to not get stuck in line up on the Knife Edge. On my way out and on the return I spoke with the same ranger while signing in/out. I believe I stopped for water at Caribou Spring because I vaguely remember letting her know that it was flowing. This route is an absolute gem for New England - truly wild, super technical, and with breathtaking views for miles.
