FKT: Sam Diaz - Teton Circumnavigation (WY) - 2021-08-25

Started at Lupine Meadows TH at 6:09am and went counter clockwise towards Jenny lake and up Cascade Canyon. The morning was calm and cool but breakfast was sitting heavy. Note to self no more egg burritos. Felt pretty nauseous to start and stomach upset gave me some real trouble fueling. Was able to get bare minimum of calories but continued to feel pretty dizzy and heavy throughout. Rough day in the office but as Dory always says “just keep swimming!”. Was able to rally the last couple miles in order to make it back to Lupin Meadows TH in 6hrs 33min 10s. Thankful to have had my friends Andy and Mike there to help keep spirits up, the jokes were plentiful.
