Soggy, wet wet wet, hail, and pathless farmland terrain - tough mentally!
I [wrongly] assumed there would be trods of some sort, but nope - largely not, which I always find mentally draining to find you're constantly veering away from your target 😵💫
The weather was wet from just a few kilometres in, with HAIL - I totally forgot hail was a thing, since it's summer 😂🌧️🧊
No visibility on the far fells, with a brief respite from the rain, for it to then rain again on me return
Route: started/ended as per the gpx, visited all the summits, but took advantage of it being an "open course" to utilise the farm roads for the trod back (I couldn't face more frustrating boggy pathless farmland, for no reason)
Resources: fully solo self supported (testing gels for fuel today, likely under fueled), with 2x 500ml flasks of water, refilled from a waterfall over halfway round
Glad I did it, but not sure I'll do it again!
