Really nice route up the seemingly never ending climb and then the terrifying but fun descent back down! Gate to trig base then back to gate, nice and simple. Beautiful views from the top on the day I did it; 15 degrees in the sunshine felt really warm! I am really happy with this time, wasn't sure what to expect as no female has published an attempt before so I didn't have a pace in mind. If it were cooler I might have been able to push more on the up but I gave it everything I had on the downs whilst not falling over and risking broken bones :) I took 1L of water in two soft flasks and that was perfect. I didn't take any food.
