Report
Two beautiful days on an iconic journey through Assynt. Solo from the start through to the first road crossing after Canisp. 45' rest and refuelling stop in the van then accompanied by Jon for a stunning sunset from Breabag. Clagged in from here through most of the night traverse across Ben more Assynt, Beinn Uidhe and Glas Bheinn, leading to some tricky nav over awkward terrain. Relieved to drop to the van for another 45' stop at the second road crossing, before being joined by Ewan for sunrise on Quinag. Jon came up to meet us at the foot of the final ridge. A superb, aesthetically pleasing route and very lucky to get blue skies and sun during the daylight hours. Memorable
