FKT: Sarah Smith - Serpent Trail (UK) - 2023-04-10

I ran the Serpent's Trail on Easter Monday starting @ 6.06 am and finishing at 18.51. Conditions were pretty bad, it rained solidly for first 50k but then brightened up for few hours and I dodged showers. I got some bad showers in last couple of hours & hail but avoided the thunder & lightening. Conditions were v wet under foot especially on the lower ground. 

I carried my water & food, re-stocking once at Fittleworth stores around 60k in. Was definitely in need of crisps & nuts by then. Noone ran with me, I jogged from home to the start (3k) and got picked up from Petersfield about 20mins after finishing. 

There is some minor re-routing on the trail compared to the saved gpx on the website.
