This was my second FKT of the day on a Connecticut Blue-Blazed Hiking Trail. It was part of a full day of adventure that included crewing for Debbie, doing an FKT on the Highlawn Trails (behind CFPA headquarters) riding from the Mattabesett Trail terminus to meet her half way (by bike), and then running the last 30 miles of the Mattabesett with her. This was a big day.
I won't make short FKT routes, but if they exist, I'll run them, and run them hard.
