È un percorso decisamente molto bello, tutto su single track, antiche strade e strade bianche, un po' più di asfalto in fondo alle valli o verso Pontremoli. Tappa da Brugnato a Collefiorito sicuramente la più bella.
Per chi la volesse tentare bisogna fare un po' di attenzione in alcuni punti dove la traccia non è proprio precisa. Per quanto mi riguarda ho fatto anche un po' il "turista" visitando il Castellaro di Cassana e il Monte Castellaro.
Acqua in quasi tutti i paesi, ma non in tutti. Io l'ho fatta unsupported, ma nel caso c'è da tenere conto che molti dei paesi attraversati sono piccoli paesi e quindi difficilmente hanno negozi o attività simili. Forse c'è un bar, ma non ovunque. I centri più grossi sono Levanto alla partenza, Borghetto Vara e Brugnato dove sicuramente si può trovare cibo, dopo qualche bar o piccolo negozio solo nei paesi più grandi.
Attenzione alla zona di Zignago e del Comune di Zeri dove ci sono molti allevamenti, è possibile incontrare cani da guardiana e zecche
