Checked the tidal calendar before heading out and tried to time the beach section with the low tide. Low tide was around 5:45 am, started at 5:35 am and didn't need a headlamp (sunrise was around 5:20 am). Beach section was a bit more technical than I had anticipated with lots of slippery rocks, kelp, and standing water. Went up Sand Point at the end of the beach section for a view.
Recorded run on my phone (Strava iPhone app).
Beautiful and fun route! Definitely possible to run this faster, especially the beach section. Go ladies!!!
