FKT: Stefanie Schout, Christian Schout - Albertine Steig - 2023-07-01

We stayed on Höri peninsula over the weekend, and as the lake crossing we wanted to do was cancelled due to wind and choppy waters, we decided to use the slightly cooler summer weather for an FKT attempt on the beautiful Albertine Steig. We started off at the parking lot. The first part was through tall grass (anti-tick spray is definitely recommended here). This was followed by a long and rather steep hill, and then we ran through nice forests and undulating fields. The highlight came on the last couple of kilometres, which had a very nice and flowy trail. We really enjoyed our run!
