I'll be honest, this isn't a time I expect to last long, but we did it and it kicks off the mixed leaderboard! We really underestimated the weather and it was hotter and more humid than expected and so we ran out of water, Amy quite severely, which really slowed us down. We stopped at a shop in Cwmcarn for water and ice cream, but we'd done a lot of walking up to that point. The route is gorgeous, which some nasty climbs and lots and lots of dry rocky paths which are a real pain to run on. I still got lost in the ferns off Machen as I do every time I go there.
