Really lucked out on weather and appreciated all the puddles of rain for the dogs. No real water access along the way (other than the river). There was about 1,000 feet of gain for the one way route. Some slight head winds that weren’t too bad. The last six miles is the most technical with lots of rocks and some fun little scrambles. The trail was a bit tricky to spot getting out of some of the canyons but nothing too crazy! All in all a super lovely day, beautiful route with tons of great scenery and wildlife to spot — even spotted a herd of big horned sheep on the way out from the Mack’s Canyon Campground. Super awesome!
