Report

We started our FKT attempt from the Sputnik (the radio tower at the top of the Outeniqua pass).  From here we climbed up onto the ridge to follow the ridgeline in an Easterly direction towards the summit of Keurkop.  We summitted both of Keurkop's summits and descended down towards the Montagu Pass.  From here we went onto the Cradock Pass path until we reached the top of the pass, from here we veered off the path onto the Western route up to the summit of Cradock Peak.  As we got onto the ridgeline we went pass the Bushpig skull, which is an important marker on the route to show us that we were on course.  From the summit of Cradock Peak we went down the Eastern ridgeline until we got onto the Dizzy Heights path.  We followed this path in a South Easterly direction till we reached the base of Kransberg.  Once again we left the path and bundu bashed up to the summit of Kransberg.  From the summit we used the same route to come down, back onto the path and followed the path until we reached Tierkop hut.  This is where the FKT ends.

We cached water on the reached before our attempt.  There is no natural water resupplies on the route because the route stays high on a ridgeline.
