I couldn't help but go for an FKT that passes within a mile of my house - the fact it's quite a long one added an extra challenge. Josh has done a great job curating this loop that takes in lots of green spaces on the East London/Essex borderline. It includes lots of firm and well-maintained paths. I used it as a training run to practice fuelling (2x 90g gels) and a more comfortable 'ultra-pace'. Doing it in August meant it was quite hot by the time I finished but I had just enough fluid (1l water and 0.5l isotonic).
