We started from Melrose moving in clockwise direction. Gary Trewartha accompanied me from Melrose to Hawick. Kate Darlow accompanied me from Selkirk to finish in Melrose. Weather generally good but muddy underfoot. Re-supply of food and water provided by Kate Darlow at Jedburgh, Hawick and Selkirk
