Completed an unsupported hike of the Tour of LeConte on 3/18/23
Started around 4:40 in the morning and finished around 9:30 in the evening. I ascended via Porter's Creek trail then descended via Boulevard Trail to the Appalachian Trail to Newfound Gap. I did the road walk down to the Alum Cave trailhead (it was a little sketchy and the only part I really hated was having to go thru a tunnel which had almost no shoulder). I ascended Alum to the summit and descended Bullhead Trail. I ascended Rainbow Falls and the ended by descending Trillium Gap Trail.
It was completely unsupported. I carried all my food from the beginning, no one came with me and I did not received assistance. I got water from the mountain (didn't bother filtering it, Mt. LeConte water is some of the finest I've ever had).
