Unsupported attempt at the quickest point to point of Singapore’s most northerly point, SAF Yacht Club, to most southerly point, Southern Point of Sentosa and mainland continental Asia.
All stops recorded - traffic lights, wrong turns, hydration stops, animal crossings and any part of not actually running that was involved. Total time out there.
Temps peaked at 38 degrees and sat at 35-36 the whole way. Set off around 9:45 AM which I could have planned better but this really was a spur of the moment decision to run it. Was pretty unprepared for the middle section of the Mandai Trails and Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. Hilly and very rocky. And then the heat of Sixth Avenue through Holland village, Queenstown, Redhill and down Lower Delta Road. Crossing over the bridge at Sentosa and making my way to the most southern point (which is not the island off Palawan beach) which many people thing but a gated community past the roundabout at Tanjong Beach Club.
Great fun and happily give it a quicker go now I know the route and where I can stop quickly for water (petrol stations and a 7eleven, but the 10km in the jungle I had zero. )
