Mark and I decided to run this route unsupported and carry all of our fuel and water. We only stopped to use the bathroom or at street crossings. We got lucky with a beautiful sunny Chicago spring morning with temps in the low 40s and no excessive wind (a rare occurrence this time of year). Lastly, we saw 43 deer throughout the run!
