I have never run this route before but came across the trail in a recent run then noticed it on FKT as well so I thought I would give it a try since it was local. I started at the north end running south to the 'end' sign then back to the north. Weather was low 30's with 12+MPH and chilly at the beginning as the wind was blowing from the south and the first half was tougher. If you like a smooth paved bike path that is about 90% straight then this is the route for you! The scenery along the trail wasn't great but the run seemed to go by quickly as there are some road crossings and such to see along the way. I carried 2.5 bottles of water with tailwind in them and had a GU at the 2 hour mark to finish off the run. Uneventful and decent run. If I am looking for some mind numbing path to run straight, smooth and flat, I would give this one another go as you know what you'll get out of it.
