Kristin and I started at 6:57am up in Wendell & the weather was pretty nice in the morning. Personally, I had a rough day and I summarized the run as such... felt great for 10 miles, suffered for 25 and ended feeling decent for the last 9+. As the day went on I think the weather warmed up enough along with some sneaky humidity which started to contribute to my suffering. It was hard to pinpoint what exactly was causing it but my legs just weren't turning over like I had wanted them to. However, Kristin is an absolute beast and crushed it consistently all day long. I'm so thankful to her for letting me tag along on this adventure she thought out and for her and Max's patience as I collected myself and we slowed the pace a bit. Ultimately in the end it ended positively & we still had some good pacing and power hiking going up those last tough sections in the Mount Holyoke Range (Long Mountain and Lithia).

Thankful to our crew masters Craig Reed and Andy Woodbury. Also, thankful to those who came out and joined us. John Torrone & Grant Ritter joined in for a few miles along the way and Max Taylor crushed a long run with us, cranking out 20 miles. Lastly, the many friends and family who texted and cheered us virtually.
