Starting out, I wasn’t intending on including Half Dome, but it was just right there so I charged up just before sunset. Up and down the cables in the evening glow was an amazing experience! Just after clicking on my headlamp at the top of Nevada Falls, I ran into a couple who was lost and scared that they couldn’t make it down. I walked with them for about 30 minutes until the top of Vernal Falls, where they said they remembered the rest of the way down from there. Shortly after I ran into a friend working on a separate Search and Rescue and talked with them briefly. Good reminder today to always throw a headlamp in the vest!
