I went unsupported, carrying a Be Free for filtering water, a bar, electrolytes, and some peanut butter. I filtered twice, at the bridge over Yosemite Creek, and from the Merced under Swinging bridge. I was feeling really good, making it back to swinging bridge at the 2:26 mark, but then had a rough time going up 4 mile trail. The trail is much easier than Yosemite Falls trail, but I ran into some energy and stomach problems given my poor nutrition choices for the day. I rolled my ankle starting the run back down to the finish, so I didn't get to enjoy that downhill as much as I would have liked. As the others have noted, it is surprisingly a very runnable trail. My strava mileage is really off, it recorded 23.6 miles, which threw me off at the beginning when I was checking my pace. I'll have to dial that in, but I double checked and I did indeed run the exact route shown on the route page. Overall, it was super fun and a cool concept. Would reccomend.
