Report
The group continues its mission to run the perimeter of all 5 boroughs. We start just before 4:00am from the end of the Roosevelt Island Bridge. With ample support from many friends, 4 of us set out to complete the entire perimeter.
Many friends came and went to help out, and this wouldn't have been possible without everyone's help and support.
I learned to always try and keep moving. Leukotape directly on skin was very effective at preventing blisters. Rice and watermelon are always good fuel sources in any condition. Key fueling components for me:
- Chocolate chip cookies
- Spam musubi
- Pickles (and the brine)
- Bananas
- Coca-Cola
- Gatorade
- Red Bull
