The FKT is my middle lap: 2:25:12 (though the Strava segment is a little under that)
Was really just (re)testing the route but was strong enough to just go for the FKT!
Conditions were pretty good besides for crunchy sinking ground and patches of ice here and there.
Wind was wild but on this route you are sheltered from the worst of it almost the whole way.
What I thought would be the fastest part of the day - going down 77 was kind of 'slow'. The first part was in bad shape and lots of ice and the road part had a very strong headwind and also my right ankle started bothering me (I tweaked it earlier). I was worried Doodletown road would be bad because last time I was on that bit it was basically a bushwhack but it must have been cleared at one point and its winter so it was fine besides one little section that slowed me.
Could have done with a little more nutrition and water - I only took about 250 ml. water and 1 figbar - would have been good to have a couple gels towards the end and a little more water.
