Today is my birthday and one month out from a 100K, so it seemed like a good time for a long run to test my nutrition plan. My wife crewed for me so I got to see her 3 times, which was a lot of fun. There are quite a few easily accessible trailheads along the route for crew. It was a cool morning when I started, but by the time I finished it was in the mid-80s.
I began at the Stockbridge trailhead, right by a restaurant called Manna. The turnaround point seems a bit abstract, so I programmed the route into my watch. It's about a half mile past Hall Road right at the start of a bridge. The trail is half paved and half gravel/dirt, so road shoes are fine.
