Description

Mike Levine Lakelands Trail State Park is a 21-mile-long linear trail that stretches between Ingham and Livingston counties and passes through woods, pastures, picturesque wetlands and by the beautiful Huron River. This multiple-use trail suitable for biking, walking, running and equestrian use.

In September 2020, Josh Sanders notes: "The state has paved additional miles of the eastern terminus of the trail but there is still an obvious start/finish point for the traditional 21 miles of this FKT.  At the exact former end point, a really nice heavy duty wood fence/guard rail has been installed.  So just run to (or start from) where this wooden fence/railing starts (approx 1/2 mile to the east of the standard Hamburg trailhead)"
