Description

The Trail  "From Akamas to Dipkarpaz" crosses the island from west to east (or reverse).

Start in Akamas National Park in the baths of Aphrodite . Then the trail passes through the famous Kykkos monastery and the highest point of Cyprus - Mount Olympus , the capital  city - Nicosia , and ends at the cape Dipkarpaz .

My name is Alexey Lobykin, I am an athlete, an ultramarathoner, a trailrunner.
I have long loved Cyprus and its inhabitants.
I am planning a running project in Cyprus with personal participation in the speedhiking format.
It would be great if the residents of Cyprus find out about it!
The essence of the project is to go from Polis to Karpas (350 km) through the highest point - Mount Olympus in 4 days.
The route diagram is attached.
I plan to start at 6 am on April 4 from Aphrodite Baths.
A photo and text report will be compiled based on the results.
