Description

Objective

  • Summit all mountain peaks in Romania with an elevation strictly above 2500 m.

  • The route and order of summits are at the athlete’s discretion.

Start/Finish Requirement

  • The challenge must start and finish at mountain bases accessible by road or trail (e.g., trailheads, mountain huts, or villages).

  • The start and finish locations cannot be on summits.

Travel Method

  • All movement must be powered solely by the athlete (e.g., running, hiking, road cycling, mountain biking).

  • No motorised transport is allowed between or on the ascents.

  • If switching disciplines, the same starting and ending points must be used for that segment (e.g., a bike left at a base must be retrieved before continuing).

Verification

  • GPS tracking is required for the full duration of the attempt.

  • Clear summit evidence is required for each peak (photo or GPS waypoint).

  • Publicly share the full track and relevant data upon completion.

Supported Format

  • Athlete may receive assistance with nutrition, hydration, spare clothing, navigation, and moral support.

  • Support can be provided in person or from a vehicle at road-accessible points.

  • Pacing is allowed only if the pacer does not carry equipment/nutrition for the athlete and if there is no drafting benefit (on the bike)

Unsupported Format

  • No dedicated support crew or pre-arranged resupply drops.

  • Athlete may purchase food, drink, or basic supplies from shops, refuges, or other public/commercial sources along the way.

Ethics

  • Leave no trace: respect nature, wildlife, and other trail users
