This route can start anywhere on the main loop road on Anegada. I started at Sid’s Restaurant at Pamato Point. I choose this sign as my start and finish area as I think Pamato Point beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and if you can a swim post FKT would be amazing. I went clockwise as I wanted to hit the dirt roads earlier in the run and be on pavement for the last few miles. I started just before sunrise and Inwould recommend that as it gets hot. As you run, you should see wild cows, goats, chickens and surprisingly not many stray dogs so you do need to watch your back the whole time. The road is tight so watch for cars but it is just a few turns and makes a great loop. If you are lucky you might see some pink flamingoes. This route doesn’t have much climbing but the heat and dirt will slow you down a bit. Wishing you the best on it and think they could make a marathon if they wanted. Finish where you started but again I would recommend Sid’s Restaurant at Pamato Point beach as it is stunning.
