Ring around Monte Civetta, one of the astonishing mountain in Dolomites. The route start close to Rifugio Capanna Trieste (lots of parking space), climb a gravel road and just before the Rifugio Vazzoler (water/food/sleep place), take the footpath below the beautiful Torre Trieste, climb to Van delle Sasse a carsic valley, then afer a steep descend (at the end of the slope is possible deviate to Malga La Grava - food/water) pass along the EAST wall of the Civetta, reach the Rifugio Coldai (water/food/sleep place), then climb to the Lago Coldai and to the great Nort West Wall of Monte Civetta, one of the most beautiful, famous and inspiring Dolomites walls. Then climb to Rifugio Tissi (water/food/sleep place). From there descend and pass thorough the Cantoni di Pelsa and Torre Venezia to reach the Rifugio Vazzoler and go down to the starting point.
The route is well served by mountain refugee, not full covered by phone signal. It is well marked and apart the Van delle Sasse is quite easy find people. The second half is part of tha Alta Via nr. 1 of Dolomites.
