The route starts near Copenhagen, close to Skodsborg station. It then largely follows the coastline of the danish island of Zealand, along the way one sees the wildlife of Denmark and many historical sights such as Castles, bridges, old roads from the 1500's and many old estates which were once owned by danish nobles. The route also goes around the small island of Amager where one can see Sweden and the Storebælts-bridge.
One is free to start the route whereever they please, since it is a round trip
