The Battle-Grove Creek Canyons Loop is local gem that is run by someone just about every day. The route passes across improbable cliffside ledges, through aspen groves, across alpine meadows, past waterfalls, by Indian Spring, and over year-round streams.
Standard (Counter-Clockwise)
Starting at the Grove Creek Canyon Trailhead follow the Bonneville Shoreline Trail to the Battle Creek Canyon Trailhead. Climb the steep Battle Creek Canyon Trail #2050 past a waterfall, marshy trail, and shale to a left turn onto trail #2049. At the high meadow take trail #2151 to the top of Grove Creek Canyon and turn left to descend trail #2048 back to the trailhead.
