This is one of the most popular climbs in the Tucson area with over 3000 attempts. The first mile from the parking lot is flat/rolling, but once you turn off onto the trail, the climb begins! The trail heads straight up a prominent ridge in Sabino Canyon with great views of the Sabino Canyon trails and road below, as well as the city of Tucson. The trail offers incredible views and is in one of the most beautiful natural areas of Tucson.
This route is for the Blackett's Ridge round trip from the Sabino Canyon Visitor's Center parking lot. There is a large rock and trail map on the northeast corner of the parking lot where the dirt walking path begins - this is where the route starts and ends. The Strava segment for this FKT is:
