The Beaver Valley section is one of nine sections of the 890km Bruce Trail, Canada's longest and oldest marked trail. This section is an approximately 115km section of trail starting at the end of the Blue Mountain section. More specifically, it starts just past the top of Blue Mountain Resort and ends in Blantyre. Fun fact: The start of the Beaver Valley section is the halfway point of the entire trail.
The Beaver Valley section opens up into the large plateau of the Loree Forest above Nottawasaga Bay. Turning south, the Trail then leads to high ground overlooking the Beaver River. Dolostone cliffs are plentiful in this section; Kimberley Rock and Old Baldy stand high above the village of Kimberley. Hoggs Falls is another "not to miss" feature of this section.
