The Brüder Grimm Lauf is an epic point to point race through the state of Hessen from Hanau to Steinau. It has been established to honor the life of the Brothers Grimm. They spent their life among this route, with Hanau as their place of birth. Since 1984 every first weekend of June, hundreds of runners run the 80km from Hanau to Steinau separated into 5 challenging stages through towns, fields and forests.
The Ultra - Nonstop version has been run (as far as we know) the first time in 2020 as a self-organized race given the Covid-19 race cancellation. It follows the same route as the stage race but simply running it nonstop.
