Description

The route traverses Bukhansan National Park from Uijeongbu in the north to Jinheung-ro in the south via Ui-dong, following the most logical and scenic line across the range. It connects the park's principal ridgelines, peaks, and trail systems in a continuous north-to-south crossing.

The route covers the full variety of terrain found within Bukhansan, including steep granite ridges, technical rocky sections, forest trails, historic fortress walls, and long panoramic stretches overlooking Seoul. Despite its proximity to one of the world's largest cities, the traverse offers a surprisingly wild mountain experience and a complete crossing of South Korea's most visited national park.
