Description

The Camel Trail is an 18 mile largely traffic free, surfaced and virtually level multi use trail. It provides access to the beautiful Cornish countryside along a disused railway line between Wenfordbridge, Bodmin, Wadebridge and Padstow.

It falls into three main sections:

  • Wenfordbridge to Bodmin- 6.25 Miles (10.1 Km)
  • Bodmin (Boscarne) to Wadebridge - 5.75 Miles (9.25Km)
  • Wadebridge to Padstow  - 5.5 Miles (8.8Km)

The trail starts at the Snail's Pace Cafe in Wenfordbridge and continues to Railway Car Park in Padstow (there is a sign saying "The Camel Trail finishes here" in case you are wondering where to finish.

It is a mix of gravel, footpath, and paved path.
