A small round of the notable Campsie hills over 500 m starting and finishing from the village fountain in Fintry.
The hills were selected on the basis of them having a prominent summit, spot height marked 500 m AOD or greater on a 1:50,000 scale OS.
I’m sure it’s been done before, but couldn’t find much information online to suggest it had been completed from the same start / end point. The summits can be done in any order via any route starting and finishing from the village fountain (picture) which is in the triangle, next to the bridge.
the first half is very runnable about Stronend. After the Cort ma Law hills the running get much tougher, but the finish along the Rallagan Tops above Fintry is spectacular.
