The Cherokee Foothills Scenic Highway is a 119.8 mile state highway in SC also known as SC Highway 11. It starts in southern Oconee County as Exit 1 of Interstate 85 and runs into Cherokee County, ending after crossing Interstate 85 near Gaffney. It is a National Scenic Byway and was once part of the "Cherokee Path" used by the Cherokee Indians and the English and French Fur traders. It travels through the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains with scenic mountain vistas to over 120 waterfalls and nearby to 4 state parks. This route can be run either direction starting near the Georgia border in Oconee County or near Gaffney, SC in Cherokee County.
