The Seabrook‑to‑Southwick Traverse is a point‑to‑point endurance route beginning at the New Hampshire coastline in Seabrook and ending at 8 College Highway, Southwick, Massachusetts (northern and southern-most points). It is an open course route so there is ample opportunity to plan as you please but investigate traffic, food and water options, sleeping/sheltering and so on. It should be on public roads and trails and avoid all highways, following a continuous, runnable network of local roads, state routes, and rural connectors. It captures the feeling of moving from ocean to inland hills to rural farmland in one continuous effort.
Most long New England routes run north–south. This traverse cuts diagonally across the region, creating a distinctive east‑to‑west endurance line that is not commonly attempted or documented.
