Cumberland Trail Three Gorges Segment Double - 68 miles - Chattanooga TN

This is a segment of the Cumberland Trail consisting of the Rock Creek, Possum Creek, and Soddy Creek Gorge's sections as well as the northern end connector trail from the Lower Leggett Rd trail head.

The Cumberland Trail Three Gorges Double consists of an out and back from Lower Leggett Rd trail head to this sections terminus at Mowbray Pike trail head and then a return to Lower Leggett Rd trail head.  68 miles

On Friday, 03/27/2020 Joshua Rogers, Jeremiah Lackey, Franklin Baker, and myself (Nathan Holland) will be attempting the Cumberland Trail Three Gorges FKT.  This is a segment of the Cumberland Trail consisting of the Rock Creek, Possum Creek, and Soddy Creek Gorge's sections as well as the northern end connector trail from the Lower Leggett Rd trail head. 

We will start at Mowbray Pike trail head and run to Lower Leggett Rd trail head and return to Mowbray Pike trail head (~68 miles).
