Descente de la Sèvre Nantaise — Mallièvre → Nantes
Cette traversée suit la Sèvre Nantaise depuis la chaussée du Moulin Neuf à Mallièvre jusqu’à son confluent avec la Loire à Nantes, près du pont de Pirmil.
Longue d’environ 142 km, la Sèvre Nantaise ne peut être suivie presque en continu à pied que sur ce tronçon, en reliant plusieurs GRP (Sentiers de Grande Randonnée de Pays) et chemins publics en bord de rivière.
Le parcours débute à Mallièvre, ancien village textile perché au-dessus de la rivière, puis traverse une vallée marquée par une forte concentration d’anciens moulins et sites industriels actifs du Moyen Âge au XIXe siècle. Il passe par ponts de pierre, passages à gué et paysages de bocage, rejoint Clisson connue aujourd’hui pour le Hellfest mais aussi pour son patrimoine fluvial avant de terminer à Nantes, là où la Sèvre rejoint la Loire.
Un itinéraire naturel de rivière, reliant patrimoine rural et ville, facile à reproduire grâce à un tracé sur chemins publics.

Sèvre Nantaise Traverse — Mallièvre → Nantes
This route follows the Sèvre Nantaise from the causeway near Moulin Neuf in Mallièvre to its confluence with the Loire River in Nantes, near Pont de Pirmil.
Although the Sèvre Nantaise winds for about 142 km, this is the only section where it can be followed almost continuously on foot, by linking several GRP (regional long-distance trails) and public riverside paths.
The route starts in Mallièvre, a historic textile village overlooking the river, then crosses a valley shaped by a high concentration of former watermills and early industrial sites active from the Middle Ages through the 19th century. It passes stone bridges, traditional river crossings and rural landscapes, goes through Clisson known today for Hellfest but also for its historic riverside setting before finishing in Nantes at the river’s confluence with the Loire.
A natural river corridor linking rural heritage to the city, on public paths and easy to repeat.
