The East Highland Way is a long distance route connecting Aviemore the ski and mountain resort with Fort William the outdoor capital of UK. It also connects Scotland's long distance walks: West Highland Way, Great Glen Way and the Road to the Isles Way forming The Highland 4.

You can find out more about the route visiting its website:

Welcome - The East Highland Way

It's a point-to-point route which can be completed either way with an alternative route option when river Calder is in spate making it unpassable.
