Out of all the Sasatch watershed traverses, this one is the easiest, and would be a good start if you were looking to do all of them. We started on the south end, heading up Perkins. There is a bit of schwacking, but over the years it's thinned out quite a bit and you could probably move pretty quick now. You hit a trail after the schwacking that takes you all the way over to lookout peak on the north side. After lookout there is a tiny bit of light route finding, but again it's probably thinned out over the years and it's pretty marginal. There is one more thick pitch, and I haven't been back there since, so that could be fine as well. Once you hit the main mt. wire ridgeline it's smooth sailing.
I'm sure someone has already done this one faster than the time we have and just not said anything about it.
Overall this is a fast traverse and doesn't take all day with quite a few miles on beautiful single track. Plus it gives you a little bit of an idea what the rest of the watershed traverses are like.
