Description

Fannin Traverse. Starting just North of the Wigwam Inn at the end of the Indian Arm and finishing in Deep Cove. The trail along this route is mostly well defined, but involves a lot of bushwacking. The only requirements on this route are to hit the true summits of: Mount Dickens, Presbyter Peak, Deacon Peak, Mount Bishop, Vicar Peak, Curate Peak, Rector Peak, Mount Elsay, Mount Seymour, Tim Jones Peak (Second Peak), and Pump Peak. There is little variation possible prior to Pump Peak, I decided to take the shortest path down to Deep Cove from there. I believe any descent off off Pump Peak to Deep Cove is valid.

This route, though you are never more than ~5km away from a serviceable road, is extremely remote, seeing very little traffic. Most of the time is spent along forested ridges, while occasionally you will pop out on exposed granite peaks (notably Bishop, Elsay, and all three Seymour Peaks) granting you incredible views of the Indian arm on the East side and the Seymour watershed on the West, as well as the Coast Mountains all around.
