Description

Starting in Trin Mulin, the route climbs steadily through forest and open terrain towards Flims, then continues into the high alpine zone below the Flimserstein, ascending all the way to the Fil de Cassons ridge — entirely on foot, without the use of any cable cars. The trail follows old mountain paths and sections of the historic Flims rockslide area, one of the largest known landslides in the Alps.
From the upper ridge, there are sweeping views over the Tectonic Arena Sardona UNESCO World Heritage Site, including clear sights of the Tschingelhörner and the distinctive Martinsloch rock window. The terrain alternates between forest trails, rocky alpine paths, and exposed ridgelines, showcasing both geological history and striking alpine scenery.
