The GR 17 is a 105 km long-distance trail in southern Belgium, running from Libramont to Anseremme. The route follows a varied and scenic line through the Ardennes, combining forest tracks, rolling farmland, technical single trails, and quiet rural roads. With a mix of runnable sections and punchy climbs, it offers a challenging yet flowing profile typical of the Belgian Ardennes.
Starting in Libramont and finishing along the Meuse valley in Anseremme (near Dinant), the GR 17 showcases dense woodlands, open plateaus, river valleys, and remote countryside. The terrain can be muddy and technical depending on the season, adding to the physical and mental challenge.
